• Food and drink will be flowing with a number of festivals taking place this month, including city favourites such as the Colmore Food Festival (4th - 5th) and the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend (10th - 13th).

• Brummie icons Black Sabbath (5th) will be performing at Villa Park, with the venue being the place to be musically this month as they are followed up by Kendrick Lamar and SZA (10th).

• Our best of the rest includes a varied bunch, from test cricket at Edgbaston as England take on India (2nd - 6th), the NEC playing host to Comic-Con Midlands (12th - 13th), and the 41st year of the Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival (18th - 27th).
