Explore the City
The City Centre location for the hotel means everything Birmingham has to offer is right on the doorstep, with the wider West Midlands region within easy reach.
If you're visiting the city for leisure, you'll find Bullring and Grand Central, The Mailbox and the various independent shopping hubs from the Great Western Arcade to Birmingham New Street, plenty to satisfy those in need of some retail therapy. The many attractions of the city are well within walking distance too, from the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to Brindley Place, the Chinese Quarter and the Gay Village. We're also a short journey away from the city's premiere entertainment hubs, from sports venues such as Edgbaston and Villa Park to music and performance spaces like the Utilita Arena and The Warehouse.
We're now settling in fully to 2026 and with that comes more and more activity taking place across the city. Some of our favourites taking place this month that we've picked out for you to enjoy are:
The UK's leading trade show will be getting the month started as Spring Fair (1st - 4th) returns at the NEC with over 1500 suppliers heading to the city.
The city centre will be heading up a host of activity, starting with an evening glow-up featuring a host of illuminated artworks as the Birmingham Light Festival (12th -15th) gives you the chance to see the city in a different light, while the Chinese New Year (22nd) will be celebrated with a fabulous festival and a host of performances to enjoy.
The nation's best athletes are headed to the Utilita Arena as the UK Athletics Indoor Championships (14th - 15th) takes place to decide national titles and team spaces for the World Athletics Indoor Championships in March.
