  • The Great Birmingham Run (3rd) kicks off the month, with the city-wide spectacle taking place ahead of the May Day Bank Holiday.

  • Football fans can watch Aston Villa chase a Champions League spot with home games against Tottenham (3rd) and Liverpool (17th) in the final stretch of the Premier League season, on top of a Europa League Semi-Final 2nd leg against Nottingham Forest (7th).

  • The annual celebration of the city's LBGTQ+ community is back as Birmingham Pride (23rd & 24th) will be bringing festivity and fun in the city centre before the Spring Bank Holiday.
